Company History
Experienced Logistics Management
Vidalia Dispatch Service, Inc., originally established as Marshall Trucking in 1990, has specialized in transporting oversized loads. Founded by Terrance Marshall in Vidalia, Louisiana, the company later relocated to Texarkana, Arkansas. Upon facing challenges in securing pilot and escort vehicles for his loads, Terrance made the strategic decision to create a dedicated pilot car division. This development not only facilitated the movement of his own loads but also provided services to other companies. In 1999, the company rebranded as Vidalia Dispatch Service, Inc. and, in 2006, moved to its current location in Royse City, Texas.
With the unique advantage of having an owner familiar with both the trucking and pilot/escort sectors, all escort drivers receive comprehensive training. This ensures our drivers fully understand the critical importance of safety and timeliness in our operation.
